Lego Serious Play Facilitator (Germany)

Ver­ena was born in Wup­per­tal and has lived and worked in Ber­lin for 30 years. she had com­pleted an act­ing train­ing with the Bühnen­reife­prü­fung (stage matur­ity exam) at the Ham­burger Kam­mer­spiele along­side her stud­ies in philosophy.She then stud­ied media con­sult­ing at the TU Ber­lin and gradu­ated with a thes­is on sys­tem­ic screen­play devel­op­ment. She foun­ded her first con­sult­ing com­pany for film­makers, Story­Docs, which she con­tin­ues to run under the name transformstory. 

She has worked as a sys­tem­ic dram­at­urge on numer­ous cinema and TV pro­jects, includ­ing the ZDF multi-part series HOTEL ADLON. A FAM­ILY SAGA./DAS SACH­ER and most recently Der PALAST. 

She is a highly exper­i­enced facil­it­at­or with over 300 screen­play con­stel­la­tions under her belt. She is also a cer­ti­fied Lego Ser­i­ous Play Facil­it­at­or, which means she can use Lego bricks to help people explore com­plex issues and find cre­at­ive solu­tions. She taught sys­tem­ic dram­at­urgy at the Ham­burg Media School for 10 years, from 2007 to 2017. 

She is pas­sion­ate about using mod­ern sys­tems the­ory to drive trans­form­at­ive change​.In addi­tion to her work as a dram­at­urge, she sup­ports and advises teams and organ­iz­a­tions in trans­form­a­tion pro­cesses as a sys­tem­ic organ­iz­a­tion­al con­sult­ant, coach, and diversity manager.
