
Verena was born in Wuppertal and has lived and worked in Berlin for 30 years. she had completed an acting training with the Bühnenreifeprüfung (stage maturity exam) at the Hamburger Kammerspiele alongside her studies in philosophy.She then studied media consulting at the TU Berlin and graduated with a thesis on systemic screenplay development. She founded her first consulting company for filmmakers, StoryDocs, which she continues to run under the name transformstory.
She has worked as a systemic dramaturge on numerous cinema and TV projects, including the ZDF multi-part series HOTEL ADLON. A FAMILY SAGA./DAS SACHER and most recently Der PALAST.
She is a highly experienced facilitator with over 300 screenplay constellations under her belt. She is also a certified Lego Serious Play Facilitator, which means she can use Lego bricks to help people explore complex issues and find creative solutions. She taught systemic dramaturgy at the Hamburg Media School for 10 years, from 2007 to 2017.
She is passionate about using modern systems theory to drive transformative change.In addition to her work as a dramaturge, she supports and advises teams and organizations in transformation processes as a systemic organizational consultant, coach, and diversity manager.
