Georgia Fotou

Writer, Greek

Georgia studied Communications, Media and Culture and worked as
a Senior Copywriter in Advertising for years before realising she likes
writing screenplays of more than 30’’ length stories. She earned a
Screenwriter’s Certificate from the American College of Greece, won
a national short film screenplay contest and has developed one
original comedy series and six adaptations of international formats
for the Greek TV. She currently works on an optioned feature film
about the Greek crisis and on a pre-production of a TV show about
motherhood, soon to be produced by a major TV network. When she
experiences writer’s block, she tries to think herself as a descendant
of Aristotle.
