Isabelle Péchou recently founded The Drama Agency, based in Copenhagen, Denmark. The consultancy company sets up co-productions on an international scale. The Drama Agency also scouts scripted formats and ready-mades, and draws up fiction trends. Prior to this role, Isabelle had worked in the media field since 1999. She graduated from La Sorbonne, Paris and University of Cologne, Germany in French and German law. She then obtained her Masters in Media Management & Communication in 2001, at La Sorbonne. Her career began at the Business & Legal Affairs of Lagardère distribution arm, Europe Images International, then in the Acquisitions and Programming department of TF1- and M6-owned commercial channels TF6 and Série Club. She joined the Acquisitions department of French pubcaster France Télévisions in 2002. Between 2011 and 2016, she managed Fiction Scouting in the International TV Scouting Unit, which advises all the group’s channels and its production company on ready-mades, formats and creative trends. She also assessed projects at the CNC (Centre National du Cinéma et de l’Image Animée) Innovation Fund between 2010 and 2014. Isabelle currently lives in Copenhagen.
