Kirsten Loose

After study­ing Cul­tur­al Stud­ies and Aes­thet­ic Prac­tices in Hildesheim, Kirsten worked for many years as a script con­sult­ant and cre­at­ive pro­du­cer for weekly TV series (Linden­strasse, ARD). She also provided script con­sult­ing for art­house film pro­jects and developed audi­ence engage­ment strategies for them.

In 2017 Kirsten kicked off her own writ­ing career by co-writ­ing the award-win­ning web series Lampen­fieber (Stage Fright). Since then she has joined sev­er­al series pro­duc­tions as head writer (Bettys Dia­gnose, ZDF) and staff writer (Unsere wun­derbar­en Jahre, ARD; Dok­t­or Bal­louz, ZDF). Kirsten also worked as script con­sult­ant for the Ger­man Sky Ori­gin­al series Souls which won Best Screen­play at Can­neser­ies 2022.

Kirsten is based in Cologne. She cur­rently devel­ops and writes shows for both pub­lic broad­casters and glob­al stream­ing plat­forms.
