Daniela Baumgärtl

Daniela studied screenwriting at the HFF Konrad Wolf film school in Potsdam-Babelsberg and has worked as freelance scriptwriter since 2007. She has written and co-written feature films, TV series and short films that have screened at festivals (e.g. Berlinale) and won prizes such as the First Steps Award (for Dígame – Tell me) and nominations (e.g. for Swiss Film Award Enemies in Love). After studying at the theatre, film and media department of Vienna University, Daniela has also worked as a script consultant and dramaturg In 2016, she was a mentor of the Short Film Station of Berlinale Talents.She is also a member of the European scriptwriters collective “Dirty Dozen” (www.dirtydozen.tv)
