Joe Kienast, born 1982, studied philosophy and sociology at the University of Bremen and, in the course of a summer session, film at the University of California, LA. In the course of a doctoral program, he studied dramaturgy at the University of Music and Theatre Leipzig. Joe worked in film, television, theatre, corporate film, and commercials. He currently works as a screenwriter, dramaturg, and director.
