Randy Oost

Randy Oost was born and raised in the rur­al south of the Neth­er­lands, near the Ger­man and Bel­gian bor­ders. After work­ing vari­ous jobs—including stints as a farm­hand, scaf­folder, and sail­or on a cargo ship—he found his way to the screen­writ­ing depart­ment of the Neth­er­lands Film Academy in Ams­ter­dam, where he lives. Since com­plet­ing Seri­al Eyes, Randy has worked as a staff writer, head writer, and cre­at­or on mul­tiple TV shows in the Neth­er­lands. Sev­er­al pro­jects he worked on have won or been nom­in­ated for a Dutch Academy Award. Randy also teaches at Dutch screen­writ­ing pro­grams and served as a board mem­ber of the Dutch screen­writ­ing guild.
