Katharina Domnick is a partner at the Berlin office of Brehm & v. Moers. She advises national and international companies from the media sector on all aspects of entertainment and media law. Her work focuses on advising national and international film projects (cinema, TV, streaming / VoD) in all matters relating to rights clearance, development, structuring, financing, production and exploitation.
Katharina Domnick also has special expertise in litigation (including preliminary injunction proceedings) and assisting in legal disputes in the media industry, particularly in connection with German copyright contract law, questions relating to collecting societies as well as the enforcing and defence of claims arising out of license agreements and other media related contracts.
Among her clients are German and international production and distribution companies, film studios / majors, broadcasters, film foundations, rights owners/ licensees as well as creative individuals and other companies / members of the audiovisual media. Katharina Domnick studied law in Berlin and New York City.
During her legal traineeship (Referendariat) she worked in an international law firm in Sydney, Australia.
She was admitted to the bar in 2008 and worked as an attorney in a major commercial law firm for about ten years before joining BREHM & v. MOERS.
