Kath­ar­ina Dom­ni­ck is a part­ner at the Ber­lin office of Brehm & v. Moers. She advises nation­al and inter­na­tion­al com­pan­ies from the media sec­tor on all aspects of enter­tain­ment and media law. Her work focuses on advising nation­al and inter­na­tion­al film pro­jects (cinema, TV, stream­ing / VoD) in all mat­ters relat­ing to rights clear­ance, devel­op­ment, struc­tur­ing, fin­an­cing, pro­duc­tion and exploitation.

Kath­ar­ina Dom­ni­ck also has spe­cial expert­ise in lit­ig­a­tion (includ­ing pre­lim­in­ary injunc­tion pro­ceed­ings) and assist­ing in leg­al dis­putes in the media industry, par­tic­u­larly in con­nec­tion with Ger­man copy­right con­tract law, ques­tions relat­ing to col­lect­ing soci­et­ies as well as the enfor­cing and defence of claims arising out of license agree­ments and oth­er media related contracts.

Among her cli­ents are Ger­man and inter­na­tion­al pro­duc­tion and dis­tri­bu­tion com­pan­ies, film stu­di­os / majors, broad­casters, film found­a­tions, rights owners/​ licensees as well as cre­at­ive indi­vidu­als and oth­er com­pan­ies / mem­bers of the audi­ovisu­al media. Kath­ar­ina Dom­ni­ck stud­ied law in Ber­lin and New York City.

Dur­ing her leg­al train­ee­ship (Ref­er­endari­at) she worked in an inter­na­tion­al law firm in Sydney, Australia.

She was admit­ted to the bar in 2008 and worked as an attor­ney in a major com­mer­cial law firm for about ten years before join­ing BREHM & v. MOERS.
