Sabine Stey­er-Viol­et

Sabine Stey­er-Viol­et is a screen­writer (Oth­er Par­ents, TNT Series or Eldor­ado KadeWe, ARD) and cre­at­ive pro­du­cer (Unortho­dox, Net­flix) and works some­times as a music super­visor too.

She stud­ied visu­al com­mu­nic­a­tion with Wim Wenders at the Hoch­schule für bildende Kün­ste Ham­burg and has taken fur­ther train­ing to become a fic­tion pro­du­cer. After her stud­ies she com­pleted a fea­ture length doc­u­ment­ary, vari­ous doc­u­ment­ary con­tri­bu­tions for Arte, 3sat and ZDF kul­tur and has worked as pro­duc­tion man­ager and cre­at­ive pro­du­cer for inter­na­tion­al fea­ture films, music videos and TV series togeth­er with such artists as Tilda Swin­ton, Chris­toph Schlin­gen­sief, Monika Treut and many others.
She has also foun­ded the music con­sult­ing com­pany Super­tape and super­vised pro­jects like the series Bad Banks, the movie Jack by Edward Ber­ger or cur­rently the Net­flix series Transat­lantic by Anna Winger.
Sabine lives in Ber­lin, is in the Com­mit­tee of the MOIN film­fund­ing Ham­burg and cur­rently devel­ops and writes sev­er­al inter­na­tion­al shows.
