Kálmán Gasztonyi

Born in 1985 in Hun­gary, Kálmán Gasztonyi now lives in Ber­lin. He holds MAs in Polit­ic­al Sci­ence (ELTE) and Screen­writ­ing (SZFE), stud­ied at FAMU Prague, and gradu­ated from Seri­al Eyes. For eight years, he worked as head writer/​showrunner at RTL Hun­gary, work­ing on fam­ily dram­ed­ies and true-crime series. As a cre­at­or, he is devel­op­ing the fea­ture OSTROM and the docu-fic­tion ALNOUR. His short films, includ­ing the Stu­dent Academy Award-win­ning A SIEGE, have screened inter­na­tion­ally.
