Aditya Khanna

Aditya Khanna is a screen­writer, film­maker and pod­caster based in Mum­bai and Ber­lin. He has worked in the Mum­bai Film and TV industry since 2016. He has writ­ten fea­ture films and sev­er­al series across genres. This includes CLUTCH, India’s first gam­ing web series and THE AMRIT­SAR FAL­CON, a polit­ic­al Spy thrill­er series cur­rently in pre-production.

As an inde­pend­ent film­maker he co-dir­ec­ted HANTU, which premiered at the 2025 Jagran Film Fest­iv­al. His short film COWMAN (writer-dir­ect­or) was short­l­is­ted for Short of the Year on SHOR­TED in 2022 and his latest short A HAPPY COUPLE (writer-dir­ect­or-edit­or) began its inter­na­tion­al fest­iv­al run in 2025 with a selec­tion at Romania’s Short to the Point. In addi­tion to his screen work, Aditya is the cre­at­or and host of Dis­sCon­tent, a pop cul­ture pod­cast with over 140 episodes.

He draws inspir­a­tion from his­tory, polit­ics and lit­er­at­ure to tell stor­ies at the inter­sec­tion of the per­son­al and polit­ic­al for a glob­al audience.
