Katerina graduated from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Department of Film Studies (BA) and University of Salford, Manchester (MA in Screenwriting). Since 2006 she has written and directed several short films which travelled to festivals and received awards, has participated in film workshops and has written three feature films, with a fourth one in progress jointly with a German scriptwriter.
