Korb­in­ian Hamberger

Korb­in­ian is a writer/​producer work­ing across film and tele­vi­sion. His work moves freely between genres, from drama, thrill­er and crime to com­edy, action and hor­ror, guided less by format than by curi­os­ity and per­son­al urgency. It is driv­en by strong cre­at­ive vis­ion and char­ac­ter-focused storytelling. He devel­ops and leads film and tele­vi­sion pro­jects in Ger­many and the US, col­lab­or­at­ing with part­ners on both sides of the Atlantic. Korb­in­ian is drawn to stor­ies that chal­lenge con­ven­tions and explore emo­tion­al con­tra­dic­tions. His pro­jects have been both crit­ic­ally and com­mer­cially suc­cess­ful and have received, among oth­er hon­ors, the Bav­ari­an Tele­vi­sion Award and the Ger­man Tele­vi­sion Award.
