When a threat they believed long bur­ied resur­faces, their care­fully con­trolled life spir­als into chaos. Sud­denly, they find them­selves on the run from con­tract killers, Rus­si­an agents, the Ger­man intel­li­gence ser­vice, former lov­ers, and numer­ous people they have wronged along the way — all while try­ing to keep their mar­riage from fall­ing apart.
