Bernie is a versatile writer-director with a passion for comedy, dramedy, and historical drama. After graduating from film school in Geneva (HEAD), he worked on films, TV programs, series, and in advertising — bringing all kinds of topics to life through storytelling and humor, and earning numerous international awards. His series pilot HOUSE OF SWITZERLAND has received recognition worldwide, winning Best Comedy at Bilbao Seriesland and Best Web Series at the Annual Global Lift-Off Season Awards. Bernie’s work reflects a deep curiosity about people, society, and history, using a mix of humor and sincerity to entertain and challenge audiences.
As a seasoned improv actor he thrives on creative collaborations and spitting out ideas on the fly. His passion for language translates into frequent work as a dialogue writer, like recently for the opener of the Eurovision Song Contest.
