Carlos Robisco Peña is a writer and director from Barcelona, with experience in theater, film and TV. His credits as a writer include the series SELFTAPE, which was nominated for Best TV Drama at the Spanish Feroz Awards 2024 and premiered at Seriencamp, the series BOYS DON’T FLY, selected for Serielizados Kick 2023, the feature films OVELLA and DESPERTAR EN LA MUDARRA, USA-Spain coproduction, currently in development (The Immigrant, Jaibo Films). His works as a writer and director include the short film A SPOT IN THE WORLD, the mid-length visual album I ALWAYS CRY FOR YOU LIKE PINK HONEY RAIN, and numerous music videos for labels such as Sony, Primavera Labels, and Vida Records. He works as a Screenwriting Lecturer at ESCAC University in the international program “One Year Filmmaking”, and as a filmmaker and producer at GXXD TIME Films.
He ventures into the unknown as a key to great narratives, but only with a good matcha. His childhood dream was to become a pirate, and he still, to this day, seeks adventure on every project.
