Drishya Gau­tham

Drishya Gau­tham is a Ber­lin-based writer, dir­ect­or and cre­at­ive pro­du­cer from Chen­nai, India. Pri­or to SE, she worked as a Devel­op­ment Exec­ut­ive at Amazon Prime Video India and as an in-house writer at pro­duc­tion com­pan­ies. She helps run Stray Fact­ory, an inde­pend­ent col­lect­ive known for award-win­ning inter­na­tion­al co-pro­duc­tions that have screened at Rot­ter­dam, AFI and Busan, among oth­ers. She is cur­rently staff writer on a VR exper­i­ence pro­duced by Arkan­um Pic­tures (DE), co-writ­ing a crime mys­tery com­mis­sioned by Civic Stu­di­os (UK/IN) and dir­ect­ing a hor­ror short pro­duced by May­ana Films (DE), which won the MID­POINT devel­op­ment award. Drishya loves using com­edy, layered char­ac­ters and elev­ated genre to tell socially rel­ev­ant, tech-for­ward stories.
