Francesca Tasini is an Italian actor and writer based in Berlin. She hails from a multi-disciplinary background which includes theater, circus, and production. Particularly drawn to speaking about marginalised voices, she wrote and directed the LGBTQ+ short film LOLA, which was selected for more than 20 festivals. Her TV project UNCLEAN was selected for Screenwriter Lab Europe, supported by Meryl Streep and Nicole Kidman subsequently winning the awards of Best Pilot at the 2023 UK Filmarket Hub Awards, Best Digital Series at Conecta Fiction 2024. UNCLEAN is now in development with 3Raum Produktionen and the producer Tore Schmidt (The Danish Girl Netflix). Francesca is also a writer on STEALING MONA LISA, Indyca and Unknown Media production for show runner Stefano Strocchi.
Francesca draws inspiration from her own misadventures and epic fails, but also from red wine. When she was a child she dreamed of becoming Charlie Chaplin, and then David Bowie.
