Freya Her­rmann

Freya Her­rmann is a screen­writer and cos­tume design­er. Since 2020, she has been co-host­ing FASH­ION THE GAZE with Vera Klocke, a pod­cast explor­ing the polit­ics of sta­ging and rep­res­ent­a­tion. Togeth­er, they pro­duce the quarterly Tik­Tok Col­loqui­um at the Volks­bühne Berlin’s Red Salon. Her work as a cos­tume design­er includes SCHWAR­ZE FRÜCHTE, DOP­PEL­HAUSHÄLFTE and MAR­ZAHN MON AMOUR.

As a writer Freya was part of the writers’ room of 3 MINUTEN and the devel­op­ment of HYPER­BABY. Since sea­son four, she has been part of the writ­ing team of DOPPELHAUSHÄLFTE.
