Jonas Davì Moruzzi

Italy/Brazil

Raised between Italy and Brazil, he graduated in Philosophy from the Alma Mater Studiorum in 2020 and in Screenwriting from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in 2024, both with honors. His series NATHAN K., co-written with his writing collective Grete Samsa, won the 2023 Solinas Experimenta Award and is currently in production for Elsinore and Rai Fiction. A feature film created with the same collective was recently optioned by Our Films. In 2025, he worked as an editor for Cinefilm* in São Paulo. That same year, he won the Tullio Pinelli Award for Best Story Idea.

As a kid, his Plan A was to be rich. Plan B didn’t exist—so he became a writer. He believes in many things: the end of humanity, the stubborn power of stories, and above all, comedy: make them laugh, then hit straight in the heart.
