Joona Kivirinta is a Finnish screenwriter based in Berlin and Helsinki. He has worked as episode writer on the Finnish award-winning crime drama Hooked, on the Finnish hospital drama Nurses, and others. For the last couple of years he has been developing his own series concepts with the support of the Finnish Film Foundation and Arts Promotion Centre Finland. His stories are usually dramas with a genre touch, dealing with contemporary life and the supernatural.
