Laura Grace

Laura Grace is a screen­writer based in Scot­land. She is cur­rently devel­op­ing two ori­gin­al series for Sky in the UK and anoth­er for AMC in the US. Most recently she has writ­ten mul­tiple epis­odes on sea­sons 1 and 2 of real-time action thrill­er NIGHTSLEEP­ER (BBC), as well as SUTH­ER­LAND, an upcom­ing sci-fi thrill­er from World Pro­duc­tions for BBC1. She is also devel­op­ing a range of ori­gin­al drama series with pro­duc­tion com­pan­ies in the UK, and writ­ing her first fea­ture with sup­port from Screen Scotland.

Pre­vi­ous cred­its include Sky and Star­z’s MARY & GEORGE star­ring Juli­anne Moore, Netflix’s THE LAST KING­DOM, Sky’s THE RISING and INTER­GALACTIC, plus epis­odes for the first and second sea­sons of Sky Deutsch­land’s DAS BOOT.

She has writ­ten ori­gin­al pilots for the BBC, Sky UK, Sky Italia, HBO Nor­d­ic, AMC and Chan­nel 4, and developed ori­gin­al drama pro­jects with pro­duc­tion com­pan­ies includ­ing Car­ni­val, Bad Wolf, Kudos, Wild Mer­cury, World Pro­duc­tions, Drama Repub­lic, Ecosse Films, Dynam­ic Tele­vi­sion and Mam Tor.

Her ori­gin­al pilot DARK­LANDS (Bad Wolf/​Channel 4) topped the inaug­ur­al TV Brit List and she was named a Broad­cast Hot Shot by Broad­cast Magazine.
