Levente Nagy Borús

Levente is a Hungarian writer-director from Serbia, blending genre storytelling with dark humor and psychological tension. His short films TANTRUM and DYSPHORIA aired on HBO Max Central Europe before he wrote and directed his debut feature, ALDER.

A two-time Hypewriter finalist for original series concepts, he also wrote the award-winning folk-horror audio drama THE GUILTY CONGREGATION, now being reworked into a novel for Hungarian publishers. His debut web series, WORK SUCKS, a meta-comedic office satire, marks his first venture into serialized comedy. Alongside his original work, Levente has written and directed serialized vertical content for international brands, developing short-form narratives specifically for mobile-first platforms. Trained in psychology, he is drawn to characters fractured by social pressure and family trauma, and mines folklore and comparative mythology to shape his genre work.

He is currently developing original series across crime, mystery, science fiction, and dark comedy, with a growing focus on serialized storytelling for international markets.
