Amanda Gicharu-Kemoli is a Kenyan screenwriter and director based in Berlin, specializing in immersive storytelling across TV, animation, and video games. A Netflix Episodic Lab alumna, she secured a first-look deal to develop an original series commissioned by their EMEA team. She previously delivered 120 serialized episodes for Wooga’s June’s Journey (reaching 2 million daily players) and has worked on AAA live-service titles. Amanda has also developed interactive storytelling projects for the UN World Food Programme and led award-winning campaigns at Google Kenya. She currently runs BARAKOA, a trans-media company, and is a Disney TechWomen Fellow and an alumna of Creative Europe SERIES WOMEN and the Spiel Fabrique Launch Pad.
