Naomi Levari is a German-American-Israeli producer and development executive. Since co-founding Black Sheep Film Productions in 2010, she has helped establish the company as a leading force in high-quality television and film, known for its commitment to character-led storytelling and for pushing the boundaries of dramatic form.
Black Sheep’s projects have premiered at major international festivals, including Cannes, Berlinale, Venice, Series Mania, and Toronto, and have received over 100 awards, among them two Television Academy Awards for Best Series.
In 2018, Naomi co-founded Electric Sheep GmbH, a Berlin-based sister company whose debut project premiered at the Venice Film Festival, won the Producers Award at the Hamburg Film Festival, and was Slovakia’s official submission for the Academy Awards.
Alongside her producing work, Naomi is a sought-after script editor, mentor, and consultant. Her approach to development emphasizes long-term collaboration with creators, close attention to character arcs, and the translation of creative vision into viable production processes. Her experience includes work with institutions and industry platforms such as Berlinale Script Station, First Cut Lab, Berlinale Co-Production Market, Full Circle Lab Philippines, Canal+ Poland, Sam Spiegel International Script Lab, Lodz Film School, and Tatino Films & Netflix Grow Creative.
