After study­ing Theatre, Film and Tele­vi­sion Stud­ies in Cologne and Par­is, Thomas Disch cur­ated three edi­tions of Film Fest­iv­al Cologne. He then worked for Warner Bros. Inter­na­tion­al Tele­vi­sion Pro­duc­tions on suc­cess­ful series such as “Wils­berg” and “Fries­land.”

He sub­sequently joined Nad­con Film as a pro­du­cer, focus­ing on inter­na­tion­al co-pro­duc­tions and over­see­ing series such as “Mod­us,” “Springtide,” and “Greyzone” for ZDF.

Since 2019, Thomas Disch has been part of the Fic­tion Depart­ment at RTL Tele­vi­sion, where he over­sees films and series for RTL, VOX and RTL+. His cred­its include “Unter Fre­un­den stirbt man nicht“ star­ring Iris Ber­ben and Hein­er Lau­t­er­bach, the inter­na­tion­al action com­edy “Ze Net­work” star­ring Dav­id Has­sel­hoff and Henry Hübchen, the award-win­ning super­hero dram­edy “Angemessen Angry”, the fantasy epic “Die Nibe­lun­gen” and the adapt­a­tion of the inter­na­tion­al hit series “Euphor­ie”.
