Seri­al Eyes #12 Final Pitch 2025 – A Glimpse into the Future of European TV Series

On May 15, 2025, the twelve par­ti­cipants of Seri­al Eyes #12 presen­ted their ori­gin­al series con­cepts at the program’s Final Pitch at SoHo House in Ber­lin. This closed industry event marks the cul­min­a­tion of Europe’s lead­ing post­gradu­ate train­ing pro­gramme for tele­vi­sion writers and showrunners.

Over the course of eight intens­ive months, these twelve emer­ging writers from across the world have developed bold, ori­gin­al series while hon­ing their col­lab­or­at­ive and cre­at­ive skills in a writers’ room set­ting. With guid­ance from inter­na­tion­ally acclaimed showrun­ners, pro­du­cers, and story edit­ors, the par­ti­cipants have explored the full devel­op­ment cycle of seri­al­ized storytelling – from concept cre­ation to pitch­ing and beyond.

The Final Pitch is an oppor­tun­ity for key industry pro­fes­sion­als to dis­cov­er fresh stor­ies and new tal­ents. Though not open to the pub­lic, the event reflects Seri­al Eyes’ cent­ral mis­sion: to shape a new gen­er­a­tion of European TV writers who are ready to lead the cre­at­ive pro­cess in an inter­na­tion­al marketplace.

Each of these tal­en­ted writers presen­ted their own ori­gin­al series – stor­ies that are diverse in tone, genre, and cul­tur­al per­spect­ive, but united by a shared ambi­tion: to push the bound­ar­ies of European television.
