On May 15, 2025, the twelve participants of Serial Eyes #12 presented their original series concepts at the program’s Final Pitch at SoHo House in Berlin. This closed industry event marks the culmination of Europe’s leading postgraduate training programme for television writers and showrunners.
Over the course of eight intensive months, these twelve emerging writers from across the world have developed bold, original series while honing their collaborative and creative skills in a writers’ room setting. With guidance from internationally acclaimed showrunners, producers, and story editors, the participants have explored the full development cycle of serialized storytelling – from concept creation to pitching and beyond.
The Final Pitch is an opportunity for key industry professionals to discover fresh stories and new talents. Though not open to the public, the event reflects Serial Eyes’ central mission: to shape a new generation of European TV writers who are ready to lead the creative process in an international marketplace.
