We’re seriesly excited for this year’s edition of the Seriesly Berlin festival and conference, especially because once again, our alumni are contributing some interesting talks, pitches and interviews.
On Tuesday, the 15th of September, our alumni network SEAN will once again be hosting their (in-)famous Pitch Circus, where screenwriters can present their boldest, strangest ideas. The Pitch Circus will take place at Cupra Garage Berlin from 19:30–22:00.
Wednesday, the 16th of September, holds plenty more fun events.
SE#5 alumnus Samuel Jefferson will host the talk “Entschuldigung, mein Deutsch ist nicht so gut”, discussing difficulties and opportunities within translation in screenwriting at PETERS Bar from 14:40–15:15.
Madeleine Féret-Fleury, SE#10 alumna, will be pitching her project DEEP FAKE as part of Seriesly Berlin Vertical Pitches in the afternoon.
Last, but certainly not least, Serial Eyes head of studies Katrin Merkel will interview SE#3 alumnae Elena Lyubarskaya and Kim Zimmermann, who both played vital roles in the creation and writing of the Disney+ series CITY OF BLOOD. Talk to a Serial Eye will be hosted at PETERS Bar between 15:25–16:55.
We wish all attendees and speakers a wonderful time! We’ll see you there.
